As you know WWDC will be held tomorrow, and Apple plans to unveiled the iOS 5.0 and the Mac OS X Lion, So it will be exciting day for fans of technology. There are many rumors about this event but I don’t want to accept any, instead I just wait until tomorrow 10:00 AM and hear Apple CEO (Steve) keynotes to find answers to the following questions.

  • What it’s new in iOS 5.0 ? Can I install it on my iPhone 3GS?
  • What about Mac OS X Lion?
  • Did you know the specs of the next iPhone? It will be iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S?
  • iCloud?! huh!

This time I want to start a live post on CaziSoft to broadcast the news but, unlike other blogs, I just want to note the main topics instead of blogging all events. See You!

If you ever want to completely remove “Xcode” from your Mac just open the Terminal and type the following command.

sudo <xcode>/Library/uninstall-devtools --mode=all

<xcode> is the directory where the tools are installed.

So for typical installations the full path is

sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools --mode=all

You can’t undo this process be careful

+1 Is Not a Simple Like Button
Mar 31st, 2011 by Mojtaba

Google announce a new social tool named “+1 button”. The idea behind is that everyone can suggest the best link for a specific search result to their friends.

The +1 button is shorthand for “this is pretty cool” or “you should check this out.”

Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. Your +1′s can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search.

Google looks at your social connections to determine who to show your +1′s to and which +1′s might be useful to you. Your social connections include the following contacts:

  • People in your Gmail (or Google Talk) chat list.
  • People in your My Contacts group in Google Contacts.
  • People you’re following in Google Reader and Google Buzz.

By the way I can’t accept what they said about +1, it’s more than a simple social button and it’s not smilar to Facebook “Like button” at all. The collected data via this tools is behind what you can imagine if people accept this as a good thing. They can implement more powerful algorithm for page ranking and refining search results in several ways. They can also improve their ads targeting because now Google knows exactly what you want.

Let’s see it in action, open Google.com and search “Robert Bunsen”.

You can see the +1 button between title and instant preview button.

New MacBook Pros are here
Feb 25th, 2011 by Mojtaba

Apple has updated the MacBook Pro with faster CPU & GPU. You can choose between Core i3 & Core i5 [13" model] and Core i5 & Core i7 [15" model]. 15″ & 17″ models now uses AMD (ATI) Radeon family graphic card to bring 3x more power to MacBook Pro. I personally don’t use Radeon family graphics on my desktop computers but it’s acceptable for notebook computers.

The major difference from previous versions is in new I/O called Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is a revolutionary new I/O which can carry up to 10Gigabits of data in a second (Nearly equals to 1GB/s). It can be use for high speed devices such as RAID arrays. Thunderbolt also provide same functionality as MiniDisplay Port so you can convert it to HDMI & DVI using current MiniDisplay port converters. According to Apple you can connect (daisy chain) up to 6 device to this port including your monitor. I can’t find any peripherals that supports Thunderbolt but in near future we should see them in stores.

below you can find the brief spec of these new models.
