Hackulous recently update their famous app “Installous” to version 4.0. You can update it via Cydia. You can also download installous 4.0 .deb sources from link below and install them manually.
For more information about .deb sources you can go here: How to Install .deb sources on iDevices.
You should install these packages in order
As you may know all application in Cydia repositories have the .deb extension and you can install them using Cydia or manually using SSH connection. I will talk about “How to use cydia” later, but now I want to describe manual method.
Prerequisites
First you should jailbreak your device. -How To- Note that if you currently have Cydia icon on your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPodTouch) your device is already jailbroken and you can go to next step.
Second you should install OpenSSH using Cydia. Now your are ready to go. Read the rest of this entry »

As I guess in my last post about MacAppStore, Hackers done their job well.
Hackulos the creator of installous application, that bring a cracked version of AppStore into iPhones, Now want to release KickBack for MacAppStore. I think it can also be a good news for developers. why? because users can get applications for free and it’s a very effective way to promote their apps.
We don’t want to release kickback as soon as the [Mac App] Store gets released. I have a few reasons for that. Most of the applications that go on the Mac App Store [in the first instance] will be decent, they’ll be pretty good. Apple isn’t going to put crap on the App Store as soon as it gets released. It’ll probably take months for the App Store to actually have a bunch of crappy applications and when we feel that it has a lot of crap in it, we’ll probably release Kickback. So we’re not going to release Kickback until well after the store’s been established, well after developers have gotten their applications up. We don’t want to devalue applications and frustrate developers.
Stay Tuned for more updates and news.
Many users reports that they can’t install application via installous because of an error “Invalid IPA”. This is because of failure in downloading files or the file it self may corrupted. I can’t find a solid way to solve this error but you can do the following and see what happens next, this works for me.
Now open installous and start downloading a tiny app like “Dual Level Pro”, install it. If the problem exists please share your experience in comment section of this post. I look forward to your response.
[Update 1] If the above process did not solve the problem, try to uninstall appsync then installous in Cyida and reboot your device. Now just install installous alone it will install appsync for you. According to a comment by khusroo on this post it will solve the problem in many cases.
Apple today announce Mac AppStore along with MacOSX 10.6.6 . As one knows Apple want’s to collect all mac application together same as what they done in iOS AppStore. It’s a very good news for users who have fast broadband connection because they can easily buy and download their applications just in few minutes.
With the Mac App Store, getting the apps you want on your Mac has never been easier. No more boxes, no more disks, no more time-consuming installation. Click once to download and install any app on your Mac.
Now it’s time for hackers to duplicate the store and offer the applications for free. As they done for iOS AppStore in apptrackr.org.
below you can find some instructions to get ready for MacAppStore and start downloading apps.
1st-Gen AppleTV users now can use AirPlay by installing RemoteHD on their devices via iTunes. It costs only $3.99 I think the price is reasonable for such amazing software.
Now you can stream the following to your AppleTV
Of course most of you as me have trouble when using touch screen devices, because we should look directly to interface to take action. But Apple new patent describe “no-look” gestures for iPod nano, so users can learn the gestures and then do what they want without looking into the screen. For example single tap on screen means play or pause, double tap should parse as next track and so on.
This new gestures might come with the next generation iPod Nano. I guess current iPod nano users may get a software update to bring same functionality.
Touch Gestures could widely used in current apple touch devices such as iPhone. Assume that you can dial a number without looking into your iPhone screen, good huh?Via TUAW
iPhone Dev-Team released their new jailbreaking tools that can jailbreak iOS 4.2.1. At this time I just list the compatible devices and also give you the download links. I will post a complete guide as soon as possible.
