Apple has allowed Video editing like the iPhone 3GS on the iPhone 3G and the iPod Touch with the new 3.1 firmware update (without a jailbreak!!!!!).

Here’s How you can test it:

1. Mail yourself a video file(.mov)
2. Open the email on your iPhone or iPod Touch running firmware 3.1 or 3.1.1 respectively.
3. Click the small arrow on the bottom bar and click the Save Video Option.
4. Now open your camera roll and select the video.
5. Now you can watch and edit it just like the iPhone 3GS!
